“Jack has limited and no movement in his lower body. As we feared, he will not be able to walk or skate.” - http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jackjablonski

I don’t know Jack Jablonski or anyone remotely involved in this story. But the last few days I have done nothing but check his CaringBridge over and over for updates, hoping and praying that it wouldn’t come to this… but it has. It’s obvious by now that Jack is a fighter, and while this is sure to be unimaginably hard, he can and will overcome it. Hockey is a family here in Minnesota, as Jack surely knows. We’re all behind you, buddy. #Jabs #13

ESPN doesn’t mention a single hockey player

unwarrantedselfimportance:

when they aired their tribute to athletes who died in 2011. Go fuck yourself, ESPN.

That’s just classic ESPN. Fuck em.

Ilya Bryzgalov’s existence as a hockey player is the most amazing piece of performance art I’ve ever seen.
